The location was amazing! Two blocks away from Mahane Yehuda Market. About a 15 minute walk to the Old City Jaffa gate. The apartment had 4 large bedrooms and 2 full baths. Free PARKING was available, which is awesome for this location because parking is very limited in this area. Apartment was very clean. There is a large balcony with incredible views of Jerusalem. They have a new garage electronic system which had some issues. We couldn’t get our car out 1 time and couldn’t get into the garage 1 time and we had to park on the street We received a parking ticket, however Chaim reimbursed us the cost. FYI…. This location is not good for someone in a wheelchair or who can’t climb approximately 10 stairs. There’s an elevator from the front door to parking garage, then you need to climb approximately 10 steps (with luggage) to the elevator that will take you to this apartment. Chaim was very responsive except over Shabbat.

This was my worst experience with a vacation rental ever. Chaim was difficult when I reached out about checking in early. He said I could pay for another day($300+) otherwise I would need to wait, even though it was ready. When it came time for the actual check in, he did not respond for 3 hours after check in time. The apt was musty, with sticky countertops. The apt. was missing basic supplies that ANY rental should have- handsoap, shampoo, paper towels and garbage bags, etc. Since no one responded, I had to go out and buy supplies. Later, my daughters(13, 17) were in the apt alone. The owner(?) came in to the unit, unannounced, without knocking. My daughters were terrified. He said that he wasn't aware anyone was in the unit. How do you not know it is rented out? This is a major security problem. Aside from that, there were exposed electrical outlets and a pile of dirt in hallway from a wall that needed to be repaired. On the positive side, the location was great.

Our stay was incredible- the location is second to none and the parking space made everything easy and smooth. Chaim quickly answered any questions we had and made our time in Israel really relaxed

סך הכל מיקום מעולה של הדירה, ממש על שוק מחנה יהודה, יש חניה לדירה שזה פלוס ענק, צריך להתקשר לבעל הדירה כדי להיכנס לחניון ולצאת ממנו, והדירה לא הייתה הכי נקיה אבל זה נפתר בטיטוא קצר. כל מה שהיינו צריכים תוך שעתיים הגיע לדירה אם זה עוד מגבות, נייר טואלט, סבון כלים וכו'. מרחק של 3 דקות הליכה יש סופר של רמי לוי בשוק, מרחק הליכה של דקה 2 ומגיעים לכל מקום בשוק, יש מרפסת גדולה מאוד לעל האש או סתם לשבת לקפה. חיים הגיע לדירה במקרה ובאמת בחור מאוד חביב ונחמד, היה חשוב לו לדעת אם הכל בסדר ובאמת הייתה תחושה מאוד טובה. אנחנו כנראה נחזור שוב לדירה הזאת כי באמת התמורה מאוד טובה למחיר למי שמחפש להיות בלב העניינים שזה שוק מחנה יהודה.

Es un departamento grande y muy bonito, sin embargo le hace falta mucho mantenimiento, muchas de las persianas no cerraban, algunas de las ventanas tampo se podían cerrar, solo uno de los quemadores de la estufa funcionaba. la limpieza sin duda dejaba mucho que desear. Hacen falta tambien cosas básicas como escoba, trapeador, recogedor y trapos para limpieza. Chaim es muy bueno con la comunicación y hay que reconocer también que al nosotros tener 2 coches nos brindaron sin costo un segundo lugar de estacionamiento. Si corrigen la parte de mantenimiento y limpieza el lugar es excelente, lamentablemente no le puedo dar 5 estrellas por esta razón

Très déçus par la propreté du logement non entretenu. Nous avons du faire le ménage en arrivant. Les photos sont très belles dans le descriptif mais ne correspondent pas au réel. Lit bébé cassé, chaise bébé très sale. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la terrasse en raison du mobilier détérioré, présence de détritus. Salles de bain sales avec restes de gel douche. Cuisine très sale : mur cuisinière brûlé, tiroirs, vaisselle et plata de chabat très sales. Chambres : murs avec traces non nettoyées, serviettes tachées, draps douteux. Concernant le parking, nous devions appeler l'hôte pour ouvrir la grille, il ne répondait pas la nuit. Nous avons eu l'impression de louer un appartement à l'abandon. J'ai pris des photos de tout ce que j'ai décrit.

over all the place is super accessible, Chaim’s place is in a prime location close to the market, train and bus station, Chaim as a host is super ok too, i highly appreciate his effort to buy a brand new TV for us since the old tv broke down. He is very responsive and communication is excellent. i strongly recommend his place for tourists like us who are looking for a nice, convenient and huge apartment that can accommodate s great number of guests. My family and I stayed there for 2 weeks and all i can say is that we had such a wonderful stay. I will definitely go back and recommend his apartment to my friends who wish to visit Jerusalem.

Es un departamento grande y muy bonito, sin embargo le hace falta mucho mantenimiento, muchas de las persianas no cerraban, algunas de las ventanas tampo se podían cerrar, solo uno de los quemadores de la estufa funcionaba. la limpieza sin duda dejaba mucho que desear. Hacen falta tambien cosas básicas como escoba, trapeador, recogedor y trapos para limpieza. Chaim es muy bueno con la comunicación y hay que reconocer también que al nosotros tener 2 coches nos brindaron sin costo un segundo lugar de estacionamiento. Si corrigen la parte de mantenimiento y limpieza el lugar es excelente, lamentablemente no le puedo dar 5 estrellas por esta razón

Très déçus par la propreté du logement non entretenu. Nous avons du faire le ménage en arrivant. Les photos sont très belles dans le descriptif mais ne correspondent pas au réel. Lit bébé cassé, chaise bébé très sale. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la terrasse en raison du mobilier détérioré, présence de détritus. Salles de bain sales avec restes de gel douche. Cuisine très sale : mur cuisinière brûlé, tiroirs, vaisselle et plata de chabat très sales. Chambres : murs avec traces non nettoyées, serviettes tachées, draps douteux. Concernant le parking, nous devions appeler l'hôte pour ouvrir la grille, il ne répondait pas la nuit. Nous avons eu l'impression de louer un appartement à l'abandon. J'ai pris des photos de tout ce que j'ai décrit.

over all the place is super accessible, Chaim’s place is in a prime location close to the market, train and bus station, Chaim as a host is super ok too, i highly appreciate his effort to buy a brand new TV for us since the old tv broke down. He is very responsive and communication is excellent. i strongly recommend his place for tourists like us who are looking for a nice, convenient and huge apartment that can accommodate s great number of guests. My family and I stayed there for 2 weeks and all i can say is that we had such a wonderful stay. I will definitely go back and recommend his apartment to my friends who wish to visit Jerusalem.
