Save your time this host has to be AI not a real human. No consideration or empathy for guests or their time. Bed was broken on arrival and the house was dirty. The host agreed to extend the listing for us and offered a discount then doubled back. Said another guest was booking for less than the minimum of 31 days. Unfortunately, they still chose to accommodate them even when we had arranged an extension. When the host informed us this she also conveniently reminded us of a one bedroom in the same complex for $4000 USD. Keep in mind the original unit had 3 beds for the same price. I’m appalled that I was pinched in a situation where we made an original agreement already. There was no regard for us as guests or our time it feels like a slap in the face. This situation led to us scrambling around to find a different place AND figure out moving in less than a day. If I couldn’t keep my word I wouldn’t be in this line of business.

Pros: the space itself is very nice and spacious with a nice balcony. Cons: They need to fix their WiFi; the signal is very weak. The host responded to emails but never fixed the problem. We were there for 7 weeks using our iphone hotspot the whole time. The area is sketchy. I was threatened by local toughs and Ubers were sometimes afraid to pick me up there. There must have been an incident because the building had 24 hour private security for a week while we were there. There are other small things but those are the major issues. I’ve never written a bad review before, but Airbnb in general has been going downhill lately. It’s as expensive as a hotel with suboptimal amenities and all kinds of issues. You used to put up with it for the quirky, local experience, but now every place is just this impersonal vibe-less apartment block made to turn a quick buck with the cheapest ikea furniture. This was such a place. Rant over lol.
